Razorbills went on a trip to Falmouth Maritime Museum this week!
We learned all about Cornish inventor Henry Trengrouse. Witnessing the tragic wreck of the Anson off Loe Bar compelled him to develop the Breeches Buoy, a device that was used to save many lives.
As historians, we explored historical evidence about Henry Trengrouse, the Anson, and the Breeches Buoy, and we had a go at using the Breeches Buoy ourselves!
